Myefski Architects headquarters are conveniently located in the Wrigley Building, overlooking the Chicago River on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago, Illinois. A branch office is located in the Lake Superior shoreline city of Marquette, Michigan. Positions are open in both our Chicago and Marquette offices.

A Senior Project Designer is a position of leadership within the firm. The position requires an individual who can create and recommend high-quality design solutions based on client goals. Persons in this position will report to an Associate or Principal regarding management of their projects. Tasks include but are not limited to:

Create design concepts and plans applicable to all phases of design including, but not limited to, presentation documents, sketches, plans, elevations, renderings, and models
Analyze and interpret solutions appropriate to the project’s context, budget, and aesthetic requirements
Investigate, evaluate, and recommend design and technical solutions in collaboration with others which may involve new techniques or procedures
Perform routine architectural assignments including site planning, programming, concept design, schematic design, design development, and construction documents, as well as code research, feasibility studies, entitlement packages, and materials, details, and systems research
Coordinate and attend meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors


Individual must be a licensed architect with a minimum of seven (7) years of architectural experience
Demonstrate experience with mixed-use residential projects and all phases of the project cycle
Must hold a master or bachelor’s degree of Architecture
Skilled with design software including Revit, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite
