ABOUT THE JOB

Ryan Companies is looking for an organized, innovative, collaborative and forward-thinking Senior Project Architect to join our team in Chicago! The ideal candidate will be able to problem solve and design both as part of a collaborative team and perform work independently.

Ryan Companies uses a unique integrated delivery process that involves architecture, engineering, construction, development, real estate management and capital markets. Ryan’s integrated process requires an individual to be able to work in a proactive and positive manner in tandem with local teams and cross regionally within a national design practice.

Some things you can expect to do:
- Lead design documentation efforts throughout the design and construction phases of multiple projects
- Attend project interviews and participate in business development
- Independently solve problems and applies basic principles of design
- Provide guidance on unusual or complex technical issues
- Research and lead code reviews and regulatory approval process
- Create complete and thorough set of design documents to meet project goals, milestones and schedule
- Manage and coordinate Ryan’s QA/QC process and project specifications
- Clearly communicate deviations in project scope
- Perform tasks with a high level of collaboration and set an example for others to follow

REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICANTS

To be successful in this role, you must have a Professional Architecture degree; Bachelor or Master of Architecture. You must be a licensed Architect with relevant work experience and a strong knowledge of Revit, building codes, documentation and constructability.

You will really stand out if you:
- Have experience working in Bluebeam
- Are LEED AP Certified and/or WELL AP Certified

SALARY

$90,000 - $110,000 per year
