We are a well-established mid-sized architectural firm specializing in the creative planning and design of the architecture and interiors of healthcare facilities. ABOUT THE JOB

Working with us, you will have the opportunity to:
-Lead in the planning and programming efforts of various healthcare projects.
-Provide multiple options for the layout and design of healthcare spaces in new and existing buildings.
-Meet with clients and user groups to review project needs and program requirements to design a functional solution.
-Manage project information and deliverables to produce quality planning and programming documentation.
-Coordinate with team members and consultants.
-Demonstrate efficiency and organization in balancing multiple tasks and projects within schedule and budget.
-Apply knowledge and experience of architectural, engineering, and planning processes and procedures.
-Assist in developing and detailing building systems and components, from schematic design through construction documents.
-Communicate in a professional and confident manner with client representatives, code officials, consultants, industry reps and contractors.
-Be experienced with or be wiling to embrace LEAN principles in all work assignments.
-Demonstrate problem-solving capability's across all phases of a project.
-Participate in business development efforts with ongoing clients and in soliciting new clients.

REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICANTS

-10+ years planning experience; healthcare industry preferred.
-Masters or Bachelors degree in Architecture.
-Experience and familiarity with LEAN health planning concepts, Illinois Department of Public Health licensing requirements and FGI Guidelines.
-LEED accreditation a plus.
-Technical and graphic skills, including proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
-Creativity, enthusiasm, self-motivation.
-Desire to be part of a team.
