EAA is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with both a broad skillset and experience to lead and coordinate project team members from schematic design through construction administration. This includes coordination with clients, contractors, consultants and EAA staff members. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring proper steps and procedures are taken and that work is completed as planned, budgeted, and scheduled, and that it is in conformance with the design intent and contract deliverables. The candidate should have an understanding of business development and confident presentation skills and will be required to pursue new opportunities. A strong background in Retail, Hospitality, and Corporate design is preferred and will provide opportunities for a wide assortment of projects and clients.

Job Responsibilities:
* Manages and collaborates with colleagues for the design of the project
* Creates project proposals and contracts 
* Manages changes in scope, schedule, and fees
* Completes and/or assists in project code review
* Develops, checks, and coordinates technical aspects of the design of a project
* Leads in organizing the construction documentation process
* Follows established standards for project production and review
* Keeps Principals informed of progress or need for assistance on managed projects 

* 7-10 years of experience
* Minimum of Bachelor degree in Architecture required 
* Master’s degree preferred with the intent to become a licensed architect
* Strong organization, delegation, and management skills
* Experience developing/reviewing Construction Documents for bid, permit, and construction
* Experience with leading Bid Negotiations and Construction Administration
* Strong working knowledge of Chicago Building Codes and International Building Codes
* Demonstrated capacity for design sensitivity
* Strong 3D modeling, graphics, presentation, rendering, and communications skills
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software programs
* Proficiency in Revit preferred
