We are seeking a motivated candidate who is experienced in managing architectural projects including the internal architectural team and external consultants. Candidate should be familiar with all phases of projects including programming, design, construction documents,construction administration, and project closeout. Candidates should possess leadership qualities and be willing to participate in the social, cultural and business development of the office. Candidates must be willing to submit to criminal background and credit checks.


Candidate should possess good team building and people skills with the ability to work in a collaborative, team environment. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience managing projects in the $5,000,000 to $50,000,000 construction cost range. Professional Degree and architectural license in the State of Illinois is required.Working knowledge and experience with AJERA accounting software is a plus. Candidate must have experience in REVIT and Auto Cad. Duties of the position include, but are not limited to the following: 1. In conjunction with the Partner in charge, operate as the primary contact for clients and consultants 2. Be accountable to the Partnership for the financial performance of projects. 3. Establish project contracts, schedules and fees with input from the Partner in Charge 4. Organize and manage in house and consultant teams to meet schedule, quality and budget requirements of the project. 5. Review and prepare monthly billings including the organization and processing of consultant billings and reimbursable expenses. 6. Provide fee and schedule projections for assigned projects. 7. Establish and maintain each project within the AJERA accounting system 8. Mentor team members and provide internal leadership to the office. 9. Be active in the pursuit of new projects and clients in conjunction with the Business Development team 10. Be willing to play on the office volleyball team (optional)
