The Project Manager will be responsible for leadership and coordination of project team members from initial programming into schematic design and through construction administration; including coordination with clients, contractors, and consultants, to ensure that proper steps and procedures are taken and that work is completed as planned, budgeted, scheduled, and in conformance with the design intent and contract deliverables. A strong background in Retail, Hospitality, and Corporate design is preferred and will provide opportunities for a wide assortment of projects and clients. Job Responsibilities:  Participates in project “pitches” and meetings for potential project opportunities  Meets with clients to establish project scope and requirements  Manages and collaborates with colleagues for the design of the project  Responsible for creating project proposals and contracts and managing changes in scope, schedule, and fee  Completes and/or assists in project code review  Develops, checks, and coordinates technical aspects of the design of a project  Leads in organizing the construction documentation process  Follows established standards for project production and review  Keeps Principals informed of progress or need for assistance on projects being managed  Mentors


 7‐10 years of experience  Minimum of Bachelor degree in Architecture required. Master’s degree preferred  Strong organization, delegation, and management skills  Strong presentation skills are desired  Experience developing/reviewing Construction Documents for bid, permit, and construction  Experience with leading Bid Negotiations and Construction Administration  Strong working knowledge of Chicago Building Codes and International Building Codes  Demonstrated capacity for design sensitivity  Strong 3D modeling, graphics, presentation, rendering, and communications skills  Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software programs  Proficiency in Revit preferred
