site design group, ltd. (site) is a creative landscape architecture and urban design firm located in Chicago, Illinois. In our 32 years in business, we have made our name for our leadership and innovation in landscape architecture and urban design, commitment to design excellence, and out-of-the-box, creative process. As landscape architects, arborists, urban designers, planners, and architects, we are a collective of 45 innovative creative-thinkers.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are in search of a talented Project Manager to join our collective. This position includes coordination and leadership for a wide variety of public and private landscape architecture and urban design projects throughout all stages of the project process. Working collaboratively with firm Principals, Directors, Designers, and Technical Staff, the Project Manager will direct the design and production team, coordinate with outside clients and consultants, and review all design and construction documents. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, open collaborators, and share our commitment to equity, community, and design excellence.

REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICANTS

• Five (5) or more years of relevant professional experience, including experience in a project management position.
• Knowledge of all stages of Landscape Architecture and Urban Design projects – from programming and design through construction administration.
• Ability to work collaboratively with firm colleagues, clients, consultants, and communities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Competency with relevant software, including: Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of MicroStation, ArcGIS, 3-D modeling, and specification writing is a plus.
• Certified Planner, Landscape Architecture, or Architecture professional license is a plus.
• A commitment to design excellence and innovation.
