ABOUT THE JOB
The position is for a Full-time creative, passionate, and thoughtful Project Designer with experience between 4 and 10 years. While working under the guidance of a Senior Designer, the Project Designer will aid in the planning and development of compelling designs for a variety of projects. The designer will work both independently and collaboratively on detailed designs, coordinating project efforts with other staff members and handling client/staff presentations.
Primary tasks will include: 1. Feasibility studies: analyze local zoning requirements and client programmatic expectations to develop planning/feasibility studies. 2. Entitlement: produce documents for neighborhood meetings and local hearings. 3. Schematic Design: work with Senior Designer to conceptualize a vision for a project and translate that vision into three-dimensional imagery. 4. Design Development: work with Senior Designer and project team to select materials and design details that are consistent with overall design intent. 5. Attend project meetings with the design team: helping to analyze, plan, and execute several projects efficiently. 6. Prepare design documentation according to company standards. 7. Foster a sense of enthusiasm for design throughout the office.
REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICANTS
1. Bachelors degree in Architecture. 2. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Lumion preferred. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Ability to create presentation documents. 5. Collaborative nature.
