ABOUT THE JOBRisinger + Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified candidate for position of Project Architect | Project Manager. This self starting, bright, energetic candidate will be working in a collaborative environment on multiple project types from retail to education to corporate office interiors. R+A’s Project Architect | Project Manager position requires performing in a self-directed manner in all aspects of the building design process, including preparation of presentation materials, schematic design, design development and contract documents in Revit, model building, rendering and construction administration activities within an established budget, schedule, site and programmatic requirements. Functions of the Project Architect | Project Manager position include: - Client contact and leadership direction - Preparation of technical design studies and options - Preparation of drawings for contract phases from schematic design through construction administration - Adherence to firm and project goals of excellence in design, execution, and sustainability - Preparation of design and technical options for project team review - Performance of calculations according to specified standards and code reviews - Organization and planning to execute tasks - Self-checks work for accuracy, omissions, legibility and conformance to firm standards
REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICANTSRequired Background and Skills: - Degree in Architecture (B. Arch., M. Arch) - Experience 5+ years - Knowledge of project design and construction documentation production, as well as construction materials - Revit proficiency (Advanced User) - Graphic and 3D visualization skills including demonstrated performance in AutoCAD, Adobe and Rhino - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Collaborative and professional work ethic - Licensed Architect or in IDP process eligible for ARE - LEED AP or within 6 months of hire Competitive compensation will be based upon the candidate’s experience.
