This person must have a passion for the architectural industry and affordable housing. Must be willing to work in a fast-paced office environment with multiple project deadlines. Good communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to multi-task and interact with team members efficiently and effectively.
• Assists the team members in planning the layout of projects and in preparing information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, and equipment.
• Prepares project plans (scaled drawings) using computer assisted design software and equipment.
• Supports construction administration staff during building construction to help monitor compliance with project plans.

• Responsible for taking project from conceptual drawings to permit set and through
construction administration
• Schematic drawings
• Zoning, building code research and compliance
• Design development and coordination with engineers
• Construction drawings and specifications for low-mid density multi-family buildings
• Monitor drawings for building code and accessibility code compliance
• Coordination with consultants
• Construction administration including site visits
• Review submittals / Shop drawings / Answer questions from job sites


• Minimum Undergraduate Degree in Architecture
• AutoCAD software proficient
• Minimum of 4+ years US related experience
• Detail oriented, organized, able to multitask, and prioritize to meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both verbally and in written form
• Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with
emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
• Must be well organized and have strong work ethic
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
• Basic design knowledge of electrical utility and engineering a plus
• Photoshop and 3D modeling skills a plus; not required
• Some travel may be required
