Our Architecture Firm has enjoyed steady growth over the last couple of years and is now looking for an Office Manager to assist in our continued success. Our firm includes 6 full time architects working on over 150 projects annually throughout the Chicagoland area. Our ideal candidate, in addition to being, organized, well-presented, timely and confident, would have at lease one year's experience working in a similar environment and has some sales experience. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to gain insight into the AEC industry, while also gaining practical experience in office administration and sales.


Office Manager Responsibilities - Greet visitors warmly and professionally, in person and over the phone. - Create digital file structure for new projects within Project Management software. - Light bookkeeping. - Organize paper files and ensure supply closets are stocked. - Drive to municipal offices and vendors to pick up and drop off building permit submittals. - Help organize company events as needed. - Screen new potential clients. (Skills permitting, meet with potential new clients to discuss our services.) - Organize digital marketing materials and update promotional information through our various outlets (Our own website, Houzz, Porch, etc) - Schedule meetings with Clients, Vendors, Consultants and new Leads. - Follow up with Clients during and after our Projects are completed. - Maintain positive demeanor.


- Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year experience in a similar environment (Ideally a professional service firm related to the construction industry) - Must have an understanding of office administrative tasks - Excellent computer skills (Familiarity with MS Office, Quickbooks Online, Photoshop and Podio are a plus) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong planning and organizational skills - Can do attitude and strives to do more for a growing team! - A willingness to expand one's skill sets, including Sales.
