ABOUT THE JOB
Complete tasks and/or projects with the leadership of a senior project architect during the design development, design coordination and construction administration phases of the built environment for any company brand store location. Produce a building information model from AutoCAD files and/or sketches and coordinate a cohesive Revit file according to department standards for each store project. Assist a senior project architect during development of the site and building design for each store project, in collaboration with the director, architecture. Assist a senior project architect during construction administration for each store project, in cooperation with the Construction team and external project team. Execute square footage reports from the building information model for each store project. Render building images from the building information model at various quality levels, for internal design review, landlord/developer review and municipality review, as needed, for each store project. Assemble presentation packages and material boards for landlord/developer review and municipality review, as needed, for each store project. Travel to project sites during construction administration for training purposes, at the discretion of the senior managing architect. Develop a design layout for elements of the retail spaces for each store project with direction from a senior project architect, in collaboration with the director, architecture and the Design and Visual Merchandising Department. Develop a space planning layout of all the back of house functions according to company standards for each store project, in cooperation with the Retail and Facilities Departments.
REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICANTS
2-5 years previous related work experience; company brand architecture experience Pre-professional bachelor’s degree in architecture or higher/ Intern Development Program participation Basic knowledge of construction means and methods, flexible building design and space planning skills, ability to sketch and present design ideas and moderate comprehension of construction documents Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Google Platform Web Conferencing, Autodesk Revit Architecture, Autodesk AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator Excellent interpersonal skills Good reading, written and verbal language skills (English)
