ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate Junior Architect with strong individual design and problem solving skills that enjoys working on challenging and non-traditional projects, under the supervision of Project Managers and one that has the desire to grow within our fast-paced company.

ABOUT THE JOB

Responsibilities:
• Implementing project directives under the supervision of Senior Architects
• Create/assemble construction drawings and specifications
• Manage the production of project documents for all phases of construction
• Primary point of contact for the Construction Contract Administration process
• Manage existing field conditions, surveys and measurements
• Prepare bidding documents, general conditions and supplemental conditions that are part of the contract documents
• Review and process all RFI’s and shop drawing/sample submissions and consult with the Senior Architects and Principal (s) as appropriate, to ensure that the design intent is being maintained
• Oversight and Coordination with project consultants
• Review applicable building and accessibility codes to ensure compliance
• Review proposed Test Fit Plans (proposed layouts) to confirm if there are any code issues
• Management of production and presentation materials; hand sketching, rendering, computer modeling, sketch-up and photo-shop
• Attend client, contractor/consultants and job-site meetings
• Work with and assist in development of project best practices and standards
• Familiarity with past and current projects in the office for resource and reference

• Quality Control and possess a detailed understanding of all aspects of projects
• Proven strong work experience in all project phases Strong knowledge of relevant building
and accessibility codes
• Have the ability to work independently, but, is just as comfortable working in a team setting
• Have a strong work ethic and a commitment to the firm’s success
• Work with the production team toward timely completion of deliverables
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCad and Microsoft Office Suite a must
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp a must
• Strong technical capabilities and experience using CAD and Revit to complete a full set of
construction documents including coordination with all disciplines

SALARY

$55000 - $65000
