The Director of Marketing implements the organization’s marketing activities and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy that supports the activities of the designated business development leaders and supports revenue objectives for the firm. Responsibilities include the following major areas of expertise: · Proposal Development & Management · Presentation & Interview Preparation and Support · Client Relationship Development and Management · Market Analysis & Strategic Planning · Web Marketing & Social Media Duties of the Director of Marketing: · Develops the Marketing Strategy for new and existing clientele; · Equips Leadership team by providing content, materials and presentations in a timely and consistent manner; · Maintains marketing staff by recruiting, orienting and training employees and monitoring and evaluating results fulfilling marketing dept. operational responsibilities; · Contributes to marketing success and effectiveness by identifying and recommending courses of action and implementing directives; · Extracts industry-specific information from leadership and existing collateral material to better integrate pertinent information and optimize proposals in a precise, consistent and compelling manner; · Assures consistency in messaging throughout all communications while reinforcing, and advancing the brand both internally and externally; · Executes all marketing strategy, including campaigns, events, digital marketing and PR; · Acts as Creative Director, guides and directs the day to day activities of the marketing team and ensures objectives are met; · Incorporates appropriate metrics to support ongoing initiatives; · Responsible for organization’s social media engagement, while building awareness of developing industry trends in potential new format of social media; · Maintains research database and provides short and long-term market forecasting through the collection, analysis, and interpretation of current market and industry data; · Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reviewing industry publications, establishing a robust professional network and participating in appropriate professional societies.


· A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, and/or a degree within the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) professions, along with a proven track record in directly applying skill set to marketing related activities within a professional services organization; · Skilled writer with keen intellect, fluid vocabulary and ability to process ideas and concepts unique to the AEC professions; · A savvy, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and the know-how to utilize them in a timely, profitable manner; · An astute manager with the ability to collaborate with leadership to advance opportunities, while simultaneously providing direction, consistency and focus for the marketing team; · Ability to provide confident, inspiring and dynamic leadership to a high-performance marketing team. · A proven track record of success in previous senior marketing roles;
