CORE Construction’s Midwest Division is looking a full time and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and provide business development and client services for the Chicagoland area. This fast-paced department aims to provide exceptional client service including building and maintaining trusting relationships with new and existing clients, communicating with Executive Leadership on opportunities and strategy. The new BD Manager will primarily focus on public sector markets for our company, including K-12, municipal and public safety clients throughout the Chicago suburbs.

The BD Manager will be responsible for implementing the annual business development plan, prospecting to generate leads, and ensuring the overall business goals are up to date and reflect progress and relevant market changes. Another priority is leading the strategy of proposals and presentations in collaboration with the marketing team.


Minimum of three years of experience as part of business development team; Minimum of three years of experience in construction, engineering, architecture or commercial real estate industry; Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, communications, construction, architecture, engineering or a related field; Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal; Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Basic knowledge of construction delivery methods; A record of success in winning business in challenging markets; Confident, driven, and dynamic servant leader; Be a steward of our culture and values; Proactive and execution-oriented approach; Passionate about providing excellent client service; Attention to detail, highly motivated; A self-starter, able to work independently; Excellent time management and organization skills.
