An Architectural Technician is an junior-level position. It requires an individual who is able to contribute to the production of a complete set of Construction Documents based on specific instruction by others. People in this position will report to the Project Lead regarding the management of their projects. An Architectural Technician must meet the following criteria:

EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS: 1 – 3 years of architectural experience / Professional degree in architecture / Working experience in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp / Basic understanding of aspects and phases of the architectural, design, and production processes

TASKS: Works from design of others / Performs routine architectural assignments / Develops design and/or technical solutions under supervision / Assists in schematic design, design development, and construction document phases / Prepares/Produces sketches, plans, elevations, renderings, and models / Researches products and materials

Myefski Architects headquarters are conveniently located in the Wrigley Building, overlooking the Chicago River on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago, Illinois. A branch office is located in the Lake Superior shoreline city of Marquette, Michigan. Positions are open in both our Chicago and Marquette offices.
