Our Chicago Studio is looking to elevate our team with an energetic, well-rounded Designer with three to five years’ experience. We are looking for a candidate who can support our design staff on projects and who can potentially run small scale projects. You will take great pride in your work, think design is more than a job, have multiple great projects to present and are excited to grow into a design leadership role. What You’ll Do: Play a key role in the production & design of all projects Run small scale projects with oversight from Senior staff Work in close partnership with our clients, providing support and whatever is needed to assist the Client’s internal team Collaborate with your Design Principal and all members of the Unispace team to ensure that our powerful methodology is delivered throughout the entire project life cycle Communicate with clients, other designers, consultants, technical and construction teams to ensure that we go beyond to impress our clients Create and deliver presentations that wow our clients Deliver projects that are both beautiful, functional and profitable Pitch in where ever needed as a valued member of a cross-functional team Contribute to our culture of equality, creativity and innovation; think outside the box


The Experience, Skills and Knowledge You Bring: 3-5 years as a Designer, focused on high-profile projects Experience in 3D visualization renderings and presentations Proficiency in the use of design tools, including Revit, CAD, InDesign, Photoshop, Excel Excellence in the following processes: Delivery and development of relevant and captivating design solutions Experience in the development of construction documentation Strong presentation skills – both written and verbal Your Education/Licenses: Degree from an accredited school in Interior Design or Architecture LEED Certification is a plus NCIDQ or AIA equivalent is a plus Who You Are: Committed to client excellence Passionate about the efficiencies of the design process Enthusiastic about learning and open to new challenges A proactive, problem solving, self-starter Highly organized, deadline driven and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously A very strong communicator – both in writing and verbally A goal oriented team player who will elevate our team Take direction and work cohesively with other members of the team
