What we're looking for:
A well-rounded Architectural Designer with commercial experience, who's seeking in-depth exposure to a diverse set of project types in a wide range of scales. The ideal individual is thoughtful, creative, talented and enthusiastic, is someone who enjoys exploring and envisioning unique design solutions to meet our Client’s challenging objectives, and is one who resonates with the opportunities that are realized when working with like-minded professionals within the culture of our creative practice.

What you'll do:
An Architectural Designer is expected to fully participate in all facets of the design, documentation and construction process. Working with a Principal or Project Leader who will guide & mentor you, an Architectural Designer's project responsibilities include:
• Concept development and presentation documents during the creation of Schematic and Design Development solutions
• Construction plans, elevations, details, schedules that fully describe the design during the preparation of Contract Documents
• Site visits, submittal reviews and Contract Administration during construction to ensure the design intent is fully realized

What you should have:
• Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program
• 3-5 years of professional commercial project experience
• Passion for creative and innovative design solutions
• Demonstrated creative abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate succinctly with Colleagues, Teammates and Clients
• Excellent organizational skills
• Solid experience in all phases of the Design Process
• Meaningful Contract Administration experience
• Fluency in AutoCAD, Revit, Google SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suites
• Capability to balance multiple projects and take a hands-on approach to numerous aspects of all projects
• A “can-do” attitude which contributes to the spirit of collaboration
• Personal accountability and pride for work produced
• Ability to collaborate with other Design Professionals in order to evaluate and enhance practical and creative design solutions
• Technical ability to understand the detailing mechanics of the proposed design solutions
• Capacity to self-start and a motivation to meet aggressive project deadlines and balance the workload of multiple activities
• Begun the path to licensure, with licensure and LEED accreditation preferred
