ABOUT THE JOB

• Work with Design Principal and Project Architect during all phases of the design process including program development, budget evaluation, and schedule review
• Work with the Design Principal on the development of project designs
• Create / develop construction documents
• Review and process submittals / RFI's during the construction administration phase of projects / coordinate with contractors

REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICANTS

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of architectural experience
• Experience with higher education / public sector projects, a plus
• Minimum Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited school of architecture
• Licensure to practice architecture in the State of Illinois, a plus
• LEED accreditation, a plus
• Strong knowledge of building codes
• Strong experience in the development of construction documents
• Experience in the development construction administration
• Experience coordinating project requirements with consultant team
• Strong technical and research skills
• High level of proficiency in Revit, Adobe (Illustrator &Photoshop), Sketchup, Excel, Powerpoint, and Podium
• High level of design sensitivity and focus on detail in all aspects of work
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Creative problem-solving skills
