ABOUT THE JOB

• Participates in conceptual design and provides full support throughout the entire project
• Performs analyses of design, planning, occupancy studies and design layouts
• Responsible for specific technical design solutions to meet the clients needs
• Demonstrates an advanced understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details and construction techniques
• Provides consultation in the planning, design and coordination of small to large projects
• Carries out complex assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures
• Responsible for planning, developing and executing technical documentation
• Work with consultants from schematic design through design development and contract document phases
• Perform construction administration duties including conducting on-site observations, preparation of observation reports, and responding to RFIs and submittals
• Participate in marketing efforts and may assist with presentations to prospective clients
• Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced architects

REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICANTS

• Completed a five-year architectural degree or Masters in Architecture
• Licensed Architect or is on path to licensure
• Professional experience in medium to large-scale residential, commercial, retail and/or mixed-use project types
• Understanding zoning and building code regulations
• Proficient in BIM / 3D Modeling software 
• Has strong technical and graphic skills
• Possess creativity, self-discipline, strong leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop, communicate and present design concepts to their team
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Fluency in English, proficiencies in other languages is an asset
