ABOUT THE JOB
Project Architect to assist in preparing complete and accurate working plans and detailed drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes by performing the following duties. Collaborate with colleagues and consultants to achieve project progress.
REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICANTS
B.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited school of Architecture.
6 or more years of architecture practice experience (including at least 1 year of U.S. experience)
Strong design portfolio
Managing clients with multiple projects.
Maintaining relationships with clients to provide a high level of service.
Involvement with pre-design and programming phases of a project.
Overseeing the production of design documents
Guiding and producing all document phases of a project, SD, DD, CD and CA.
Coordinating project consultant efforts.
Strong collaboration and organizational skills are a must.
Hands on approach and flexibility are a must.
Consults in the planning, design and coordination of large complex projects.
Responsible for technical design aspects of an assigned major project including investigation, evaluation and recommendations.
Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff.
Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
Knowledge of local building code is required.
Serving as the technical leader and project manager for significant development projects. The ability to manage several simultaneous projects is a requirement, overlooking different project teams.
Establishing the initial project schedule and regular maintenance of project schedules. This activity includes the recommendation of appropriate staffing for each design activity
Strong Project Management skills
Experience with Revit is preferred.
U.S. Architecture license is preferred
