Join the AIA's Regional and Urban Design Committee for a series of timely conversations on public health and urban design. For three consecutive days, interdisciplinary experts will discuss how the current health crisis is impacting traditional notions of urbanism, and what challenges and opportunities designers have to address the pandemic.
- Practice on October 20 at 11am-1pm CDT: the first session brings together four national practitioners to advance novel implementation strategies at the scales of the building, block and city.
- Pedagogy on October 21 at 11am-1pm CDT: the second session highlights perspectives from leading academics about how our interactions with the world shape health, well-being and behaviors.
- Policy on October 22 at 11am-1pm CDT: the third session provides policy insights underscoring the ways in which the pandemic is affecting our most vulnerable populations both globally and here at home.
Join us for one day or all three. Each day's session is available as a separate purchase on AIAU; register for all three days at a discounted price.
