Attend the second of SEDAC’s three-part webinar series on designing for efficiency. This second webinar will focus on what architects need to know about lighting and electrical systems and energy efficiency. We’ll explore how to quantify lighting efficiency and how light and electric use is measured. You’ll have the opportunity to practice calculating lighting efficiency and will learn about lighting controls and energy code requirements. The Illinois Energy Code requirements for both commercial and residential buildings will be addressed.
SEDAC, the Smart Energy Design Assistance Center, is an applied research program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, whose mission is to decrease the energy footprint of the State of Illinois. Click here for more information.
