Is this event a party or a meeting?
It's both! The Annual Meeting portion of the evening will begin at 6:00 PM. We will introduce the 2019 AIA Chicago Board of Directors, recognize long-time members and newly licensed members, and present the awards listed above. We encourage you to grab a seat and enjoy the lively presentation. There will be an open bar and time to mingle before and after the presentation.

Was I supposed to receive a ticket in the mail?
There are no physical tickets for this event. Event check-in will be located in the Washington Street lobby, where you will get a name tag. As the Cultural Center is a public building, we will have event security. You must have your name tag on your person in order to enter the party.

Will there be a coat check?
Yes. When you arrive, please check any large bags and coats at the complimentary coat check in the Washington Street lobby, then proceed by elevator or stairs to the 3rd floor for the event.

Is there a dress code?
Most guests will be coming from the office. We suggest you wear whatever you consider Business attire. You can see photos of last year's crowd here.

How should I get there?
We recommend guests arrive by public transit, taxi or rideshare. The most convenient parking is at the Millennium Park garages. You can also use SpotHero to find parking. Valet will not be available.

Is the entrance accessible?
A wheelchair accessible entrance is located at street level at the Ran

tickets may be purchased at the door by credit card only.

Cost of admission includes cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres. All proceeds from the event go towards funding AIA Chicago's numerous professional events and outreach initiatives.
