Jackie Koo, AIA, IIDA, NOMA, will talk about her career, designing such buildings as theWit hotel; Offshore rooftop bar (opened 2019) and the under-construction hotel at Navy Pier; Hotel EMC2; and the dual-branded Hyatt at the Old Cook County Hospital. Jackie is the founding partner of KOO LLC, an award-winning architecture, interior design, and urban planning firm established in 2005. She began her career as an architect in 1992, graduating with an M. Arch degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and working for other practices for fifteen years.
