Matt Dupuis (SRI Consultants) will focus on adhesive low-rise foams and polyisocyanurate facer types. Low rise adhesive foams have replaced asphalt as the go-to adhesive for the roofing industry. These foam adhesives have advantages and disadvantages. Knowing these advantages and disadvantages and being able to recognize potential issues early in the design phase or early in construction can save a project from failure and or litigation. In another portion of the presentation attendees will be shown the different types of facers used in polyisocyanurate production, and the literal strengths and weaknesses of each in roofing designs.
Speaker: Dr. Matt Dupuis has a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctorate in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. With the exception service in the US Army, he has spent the past four decades working in the roofing industry. Dr. Dupuis is the president of SRI Consultants, based in Middleton, WI. He is a licensed engineer in Texas, Florida, Ohio, Illinois, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.
