KPMG Denver Ignition

Denver, Colorado / United States of America

Denver Ignition is the prototype for KPMG’s Innovation Centers spreading across the country. The “office” is a tool to recruit and inspire young tech-savvy millennials and a resource to spark innovation with state-of-the-art technology tools, collaboration zones and flexible work environments. As you enter through a secure shipping crate vestibule, you are met with a striking view of the Commons Area including open recreation areas, collaboration seating and an opportunity for town hall meetings with broadcast capability. The high table serves as a daily lunch counter, meeting table or a catering counter; highlighted with a unique light fixture created from recycled bicycle parts. An additional shipping crate houses intimate booths. A sustainable moss wall connects the 2nd story streetscape view and provides a backdrop for game tables harkening an outdoor refuge. A feature green bottle wall is a nod to the local brew pubs of which the conference rooms are named after. Mobile, sit-to-stand worktables encourage flexibility within neighborhoods. Named for Denver’s vibrant communities such as Lodo, Rino, and Highlands, each neighborhood includes a variety of meeting rooms and collaborative/break areas. Lockers provide secure storage for employees along the primary circulation path.
