Fragomen Worldwide, Chicago Headquarters

Chicago, Illinois / United States of America

Fragomen Worldwide, recognized as the world’s leading global immigration services provider, was seeking a new downtown Chicago office. Simultaneous to their real estate search, the firm launched a new brand and corporate identity program that utilized core messaging, such as “forward thinking”, “fast-paced”, “dynamic”, “optimistic”, and “warm”. These brand values were exactly the elements the firm sought to incorporate into design of their new Chicago office.

The new employee-focused workspace features an energized environment, new furniture, and enhanced amenities. The selected building – 333 W. Wacker's iconic green glass structure with its curved façade that boldly embraces the bend of the Chicago River – inspired the interior concept. The design solution takes advantage of the building’s uniquely shaped floor plate, which has no right angles, as well as existing structural and architectural features, to create a variety of open and enclosed collaborative environments within leftover triangular spaces.

A thoughtful planning approach maximizes exterior views and allows natural light to penetrate into the building’s core; direct and indirect lighting supplement daylight to create an optimal environment for desk-centric work. The employee café is located in prime real estate, adjacent to reception and overlooking the Chicago River.
