Tata Main Hospital

This project creates public healthcare for the population of the region. It is designed as a series of large elevated gardens shaded from the intense climate. These gardens create proximate green lungs to the hospital in a largely industrial city. It creates a modern vision for mass delivery of healthcare in rapidly industrializing parts of the world. 
Jamshedpur is the largest and the most populous Urban Agglomeration in the Indian state of Jharkhand and a major industrial zone in Eastern India with a population of 1.4 million citizens. It is home to Tata Steel, the largest iron and steel producing plant in India. 
The 1,083,764 sf, 1600 bed replacement Tata Main Hospital is designed as an integrated health campus that embodies clinical best practices to serve the employees of Tata Steel, their families, and the people of Jamshedpur. The new facility will replace the existing Tata Main Hospital in its entirety and create an efficient, safe, and sustainable solution that responds to the needs of patients, families, and clinical caregivers to flexibly accommodate future care delivery paradigms. with increased capacity and expanded facilities for Beds,Surgery, Radiology, Outpatient Department, and Central Casualty / Emergency Department.
