Kimberly-Clark Global Marketing Office

Chicago, Illinois / United States of America

Kimberly Clark and its well-known global brands are an indispensable part of life for people in more than 175 countries. This 5,000sf marketing office was crafted in a unique, but technically challenging duplex suite at the Civic Opera Building in Chicago.

The suite consists of the reception level on the 42nd floor and the loft on the 43rd floor.

The design combines weathered natural materials including reclaimed wood flooring and barn wood, referencing Kimberly-Clark's heritage in paper products.

Staff areas are washed in natural light.

Technology is woven into the fabric of the client meeting spaces. Strategic use of glass allows the small suite to feel more expansive.

Ample lounge space is provided with furnishings that send a message of domestic simplicity and warmth.

Huddle rooms are furnished for relaxed comfort.

A 1970's vintage stair was refreshed with a white stain and mesh screens.

A minimal sliding glass partition showcases the loft's unique portal windows and allows discrete division of space.
