Board of Directors

The AIA Chicago Board of Directors is elected annually to carry out the Chapter vision and mission. The composition of the Board is representative of our membership diversity, including Architects, Associates, Affiliates, as well as Students and AIA Illinois Liaisons. This collective leadership experience allows the Board to envision and execute strategic, responsible, and inspiring actions to build a better environment for our profession.

All AIA Chicago members are welcome to engage with the Board. Members may contact the President to inquire how to get involved and request participation at Board meetings.

Each year, voting Chapter members are notified of open positions by the Nominating Committee. We encourage members with a passion for leadership and service to apply. The Nominating Committee determines the slate for the Board of Directors, presented at the Annual Meeting, confirmed through election by the Chapter membership.
