YMCA of the USA

Interior Architecture Award Submission

A recent move for the YMCA of the USA’s national headquarters coincided with the launch of this non-profit’s fresh, energetic identity program. The goal for the space was to create more teaming areas and improve the integration of technology within a dynamic and welcoming office.

With more than 3,000 visitors each year, the new space needed to accommodate large and small groups from all over the world, simultaneously. Designed with plenty of natural light and flexible, multi-function spaces, YMCA’s office has the versatility to enable gracious entertaining, no matter what the event. Today, the YMCA is able to use the space as a tool to support its fundraising and education activities in a way that had not been possible before.

The integration of a vivid graphics program throughout the office communicates YMCA’s new brand in a visually striking and cost-effective way.

The new clean, modern, and vibrant headquarters was planned, designed, and built-out in just ten months and constructed within the budget parameters set by the Tenant Improvement allowance provided by the Landlord.
