Relocating three for-profit subsidiaries into the main headquarters of a non-profit organization required a balancing act between team and individual needs. The layout combines open-plan work areas with separate offices, which have glass fronts to provide access to natural light and views. Costs were kept down by reusing 60 percent of the original tenant buildout. The jury found the design pleasingly subtle, with nice proportions and delicate details.
