A huge, anonymous building is generally a very inhospitable workplace. The jury praised this project for meeting the difficult challenge of creating an inviting environment within the 600,000-square-foot shell of an old mimeograph factory. Design elements create a staccato rhythm in the long circulation corridor and screens of red mesh provide points of interest in the vast office areas.
