Perkins and Will designed the unbuilt J. L. Stanford Middle School which was to be a new structure on an existing campus. The design includes a long, arc-shaped building housing specialized classrooms for fine arts and science, with a cafeteria at one end. The circular element contains general classrooms, and the triangle contains a library.
