The young career of Eric Davis, AIA can best be

described as well-rounded, for it represents the full range of

interests that can define the role of architects in our society

Davis' design work at OWP&P and the Chicago

Park District-where he worked notably on the Lake Shore Drive

relocation project-has been published

in national magazines. Today, he is assistant

project director on OWP&P's master architect

team for the Chicago Public Schools Capital Improvement

Plan.

Davis volunteers his architectural skills

to support worthwhile public service agencies

which address issues related to public

education and homelessness. He has also been

an author, a lecturer, a curator, and a visiting

professor. Most recently, he ran for a seat

in the Illinois state legislature, an

effort that was officially supported by AIA

Illinois as well as the Sierra Club, Pioneer

Press and progressive leaders from across the city.
