D101

Architectural Area and Volume of Buildings (1995)

Member price

$11.25

Nonmember price

$15.00

D101 establishes definitions for and describes methods of calculating the architectural area and volume of buildings. D101 also covers interstitial space, office, retail, and residential areas.

D200

Project Checklist (1995)

Member price

$5.25

Nonmember price

$7.00

The project checklist is a convenient listing of tasks a practitioner may perform on a given project. This check list will assist the architect in recognizing required tasks and in locating data necessary to fulfill assigned responsibilities. By providing space for notes on actions taken, assignment of tasks and time frames for completion, D200 may also serve as a permanent record of the owner’s, contractor’s and architect’s actions and decisions.

D503

Guide for Sustainable Projects (2011)

D503 is not an agreement but is a guide that discusses the roles and responsibilities faced by Owners, Architects and Contractors on sustainable design and construction projects. D503 also contains model provisions for modifying or supplementing the following AIA Contract Documents: A201, General Conditions of the Contract for Construction; A101, Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Contractor where the basis of payment is a Stipulated Sum; and B101, Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect. D503 provides model language with explanatory notes to assist users in adapting those documents for use on a sustainable project. A201, A101 and B101, as standard form documents, cannot address all of the unique requirements and risks of sustainable design and construction. D503 is provided to assist users either in modifying those documents, or in developing separate supplementary conditions documents to attach to them.
