Description
The Project Architect is responsible for preliminary architectural planning and design, and construction documentation. Working with a Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager, the Project Architect collaborates with in-house architects and coordinates with consultants.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong talent for design, with experience in both new construction and adaptive re-use. Project experience will include commercial, institutional, hospitality, and educational buildings. Working knowledge of building systems, exterior wall enclosures, and sustainability is a requisite. The successful candidate must also demonstrate excellent graphic presentation skills using AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite programs. Experience with REVIT is a plus.

Additional requirements include effective leadership skills to manage design teams and consultants, and the ability to develop and build client relationships. International work experience, familiarity with designing in metric, and sensitivity to cross-cultural communications will be a plus. Fluency in Spanish is desirable but not required. International and national travel may be needed. Only licensed architects with a minimum of 7 years experience and a Bachelor or Master's degree in Architecture will be considered. LEED AP is desirable.
