It's a big year in Chicago as our city celebrates 100 years of Daniel Burnham's great legacy

Think you have a creative idea for how and where this visionary thinker and the 1909 Plan of Chicago should be memorialized? If so, AIA Chicago wants to hear from you. Send us your ideas and we'll help you share them with the architecture community in Chicago. We plan on creating an online exhibition of your ideas and, possibly, a public display.

Submission format

• Maximum of 3 PDF images (maximum size 11 × 17") demonstrating your concept for a Burnham memorial;
• Interpretive narrative, if any, can be provided in a separate Word document attachment.

Be sure to include with your submission the contact information for the individual(s) and/or firm(s) to which the submission should be attributed in publication and/or exhibitions.

AIA Chicago reserves the right to use any submissions for exhibition and/or publication purposes. All materials must be received by email, sent to burnham@aiachicago.org, no later than 10 p.m. on Monday, March 30.
